Watching Daddy

9.9.12

Asher loves to watch his Daddy shoot at the gun range.  He's taking notes for sure!  Watch and learn.

I think there is just nothing cuter then sleeping kids all snuggled in bed.

 9.10.12

Teagan made a fancy crown and bracelet using the tape from Paul's 10 key at his office.

Just playing with the barn.

9.11.12

Asher turns everything into a gun.  He consfiscated my vacuum as I was trying to clean and turned it into a "shotgun" so he said.

The kids love to bathe "Swimmy". It's usually just a short matter of time before the whole kitchen floor is soaked, but something about kids and a tub off water.  Endless fun.

9.12.12

These kiddos love to drink kombucha.  Especially out of the Pooh glasses from Grandma.  Apparently Teagan's drink needed some mixing.

9.13.12

Aunt Niki came to visit from Hawaii and brought the kiddos some Aloha wear.  Of course they wanted to try it on as soon as we got home.

9.14.12

Playing at Grandma's house and having a lot of fun motorcycle riding.

9.15.12

What is this kid doing on the counter? Just hanging out keeping an eye on his cup I guess.

Fun ride! The kiddos found out that the soft side of the exercise mat slides across the floor really well.

End of summer swims

9.1.12

Teagan spends a lot of time practicing writing and coloring.  She takes it very seriously and will do it independently for quite awhile. Asher likes to join in whenever he can.

9.2.12

Gotta get a few more swims in before the end of the season.  Swim suit optional.

Paul has been wanting to buzz Asher's hair for awhile now, but I keep resisting.  Finally when Asher kept picking up the clippers saying, "Asher, daddy haircut," I had to give in.  He sat really still while we did it.  I couldn't believe all the beautiful baby hair that fell to the ground.

He looks so grown up with his buzz cut!

 9.3.12

He just looks so different with is big boy haircut!  Teagan does not like it though.  She keeps saying, "He sounds like Asher, but he doesn't look like Asher."

Hanging out in the hammock, giving me the mad face.

9.4.12

I can't believe all the summer swimming is almost over.  These kiddos have so much fun in the pool.

9.5.12

We haven't found Asher a bike helmet in his size yet, so he likes to wear his army helmet while he rides his scooter.

Teagan's grandma gave her some Winnie the Pooh and Piglet cups.  Both the kiddos have been having a lot of fun with them.

9.6.12

When I went upstairs to investigate why Asher was being so quiet, I found him coloring himself.  For some reason when he colors on his body he says, "I'm a dinosaur!"  Somehow in his mind, coloring his skin makes him a dinosaur.

Sweet little girl all dressed up and posing.

9.7.12

Sharing a snack in the playroom.

9.8.12

Tea party!

Teagan was playing doctor with Asher.  She checked him out, brought him some food, and tied his leg up in a sling.  All better.

Learning to write

8.25.12

Enjoying the cupcakes at the baby shower for cousin Brielle.

Teagan enjoyed sampling both the cake and the cupcakes at the party!

8.26.12

We might need a bigger box to ship this one out.

Teagan has been really interested in learning to write lately.  She kept showing me pieces of paper where she had wrote tamt.  I decided that since she liked writing those letters, I would teach her actual words that use those letters and others she knows.  I told her to write m-a-t, c-u-p, and c-a-t. She was so proud of herself that she was writing actual words.  She said, "Now I want to write robot!"

8.27.12

The weather is finally cooling down a bit so we can spend more time at the park.

8.28.12

 All snuggled up!

8.29.12

Playing out in the backyard, wearing nothing but underwear, as usual.  He's almost tall enough to pedal the tricycle now.

8.30.12

 My cooking helper.

Asher is more than happy to wash the dishes.  Or at least to play with running water and make a big, wet mess.

8.31.12

More park time.  Climbing and swinging.

Cousin Time

8.20.12

Since Teagan's cousins are getting ready for school to start, we've had a chance to hang out with the girls a bit while Beth and Connor volunteer at the elementary school.

Teagan and Audrey coloring together.

These 4 kiddos played really well together.  We made play-doh and then played with it.

8.21.12

Teagan is always working on something for her Grandma.

While I was cooking dinner, I heard the kids giggling hysterically in the bathroom together.  Teagan had taken off her dress and put it on Asher.  They came out of the bathroom together giggling like crazy.  Those two are so silly together!  Paul was not impressed with the dress when he came home from work.

8.22.12

Time for a little car wash.

More cousin time!

The kids discovered that when you pour bubble solution into the water table, it makes lots of fun bubbles!

8.23.12

Playing "puppy" is a daily occurence around here.  Of course we always have to get the puppy and bowl of water and some treats.

Hanging out listening to a story on her headphones.  The library has little mp3 stories called "playaways" that you can check out and just plug headphones into.  Teagan really enjoys them.

8.24.12

My little baking helpers. Good thing we had a spatuala and a beater to share!

Waco

8.17.12

Paul had a pistol course that he was doing over the weekend in Waco, so the kids and I took the opportunity to spend the weekend with our friends in Waco.  They have a little boy just about a year younger than Asher and a little girl about a year younger than Teagan.

Asher and Isaiah playing with the toys.

Teagan loved the cash register toy.

8.18.12

Hanging out with some "animals" at the Waco zoo.

8.19.12

A firetruck themed playground!  That's Asher's kind of park.

Teagan had a lot of fun at the splash park.
