Asher thought it was pretty funny when he learned that we could velcro Teagan's Stars monkey's hands together and have it hang from him. He walked around with it just giggling. Of course Teagan had to try it out by dancing around with it on her back!

Hockey!
We had the opportunity to take the kids to another Stars game today. Teagan has been so excited the last few days, waiting for the big game day! She wanted to bring her baby doll Sarah with us. It was really cute seeing her talk to Sarah about the game and telling us what Sarah was thinking.

Nursing her baby doll at the game. Teagan remembered that she got a cookie at the last game, so she started asking for her cookie shortly after the game began. She also got to have chicken tenders and kept asking us, "What else do they have for kids?" She got kind of antsy towards the end of the game so we also got popcorn. When she saw the people in front of us have ice cream, she asked, "Is that for kids?" Paul was able to distract her with the promise of ice cream at another time.

The game fell right during Asher's nap time. He didn't let that stop him! He fell asleep during the 2nd period and slept through the rest of the game. Even all the noise didn't phase him. It was quite loud with all the excitement at the end of the game with the win, but I still had to wake him up when it was time to go.

Asher loves all the music at the games. He drops everything to dance when he hears any music.
The kids had fun choosing their souvenirs after the game. Asher got a hat and a little puppy dog. Teagan got a pink Stars outfit and a stuffed monkey. It is so fun now that they are both old enough to enjoy the game.

Rocking
Teagan has been playing with a stuffed bunny that was mine when I was younger. It's almost as big as Asher! She dresses it, puts shoes on it, bows on its ears, and made a bed for it in the bedroom tonight.
Of course, if Teagan was rocking, Asher needed to rock also. He was doing "shhh shhh shhh" while I sang the Wiggles Bear is Now Asleep song.

Belated Valentine Party
We had a belated Valentines Party with Teagan's friends today. The kids assembled their own heart shaped English muffin pizzas, we had heart shaped cucumber slices, pink drinks, and chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting. The kids had a lot of fun playing and we mamas chatted, whenever we could hear each other over the noise! After the party, Natasha, Meadhbh, and Aoife headed over to the park with us to fly kites. Natasha was able to successfully fly their kite, but ours was broken. We still had a lot of fun on the playground though.
Another day, another park!

Another beautiful February day! We packed a picnic lunch and headed to the park after story time at the library. We've been running around so much this week to activities and parks, and I'm exhausted! The kids don't seem the least bit phased. Where do they get all this energy?
And because this one is just too cute to not include, Asher with a purse and a baby. Or "bee-bee" as he likes to say.

Picnic

Another day, another picnic at the park! After our activity class at Huffhines this morning, we walked over to the playground to picnic and play. On the way, we walked by some bleachers at the soccer field. Teagan decided that would be the perfect spot for our picnic. So we had our lunch on the bleachers and then headed over to the playground.

Check out that hair!
Another beautiful Spring-ish day here. Can we call mid-February Spring? It sure feels like it. We packed up a lunch and headed out to Sprouts and then Mustang Park. The park is really close to Sprouts so I've been trying to make it my goal to take the kids to play there after we get some groceries. I don't think grocery shopping is high on the list as fun for kids, so I'm trying to balance it out with something I know they enjoy. Sliding continus to be the favorite activity for both kids. Going down head first together is the best! Check out that crazy static hair!

I can fit!
Asher was determined to fit his body into the shelf. I don't think it worked quite like he had planned.
Teagan fit three of her babies into her ring sling today. They all came with us in the car to go to the gym activity class. She buckled two in the middle seat and put one inside the middle console up front. Those babies sure keep her busy!
